Beehive Roy Auto #/10 on the bay

As some of you saw in my thread in the Hobby section. I just landed a Roy Ready for Framing auto from a dealer. It hasn't arrived yet. It should be here this week. I paid $250 for the card. Just to see if I could have done better. There is one on the bay. Link Below. Hope the one on ebay goes for $300+.

I don't doubt that it'll land over $300... lots of Roy collecters out there. Great pick up for $250!!!

Wait for Mr. Sportscards and Royisking to get a whiff of it. Should be fun to watch.

Never fails though. As soon as you get a card you haven't seen on the 'bay, one always pops up the following week.

Chris, I agree, always happens. Anyway enough of this cards stuff. More importantly, make sure your camera is working for the expo this weekend. A lot of us are counting on you for a lot of pics. Mike

Ah, dang. I was hoping the Roy collectors on ebay would be going for the H&P GU I listed a couple days ago. The card I have is nice, but an auto /10 is very nice and would be hard to come by another one.

You know it's things like this that make it seem like that Black Diamond Roy auto from 03/04 is out of 10 or less...

I swear since that product came out only 1 or 2 hit ebay immediately after release, and Chris had one which he traded...

I shudder to think what the next Black Diamond Roy auto is going to fetch if royisking and that other guy didn't grab one already... I hate having a set so close to completion and it taking so long

That card should hit 300+ easily.

Actually, the print run on the Roy is 24. Found that out after I traded it to Ferris...ugh. But there's so much Black Diamond out there, 20 could be sitting in boxes somewhere.

Its times like this I wish I had x-ray vision.

You are 100% correct, the Roy is limited /24

I believe that Gretzky, Orr, Howe are limited to /87

I talked to an Upper Deck Rep awhile back, and that's what they told me.

I'm sure the next Roy Signature Gems' Auto will fetch over around $300. I know a view collectors who are after that particular card (evil smile)
