On one hand, I'm thrilled that the Bengals got a huge win and finished at 8-8, very impressive for loyal Cincy fans. Things are definitely looking up for the next seasons to come.

However, my boy Blake got in the game, played decent, except for his first pass of the game. An INT returned for a TD on the first pass isn't what I would call a nice start. He did play well after though, finishing with 14 completions on 23 attempts, only 85 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT. Blake did lead the only TD drive of the Eagles game, outperforming Koy Detmer. However, it is hard to blame either Koy or Jeff because when your main targets are Freddie Mitchell [who actually has played well as of late], and Billy McMullen [who runs horrible routes and drops everything that comes his way], there isn't much success to go around.

At least Blake threw his first TD of the season, and threw a TD to the Bengals, his first in quite a few years. ;)

Exactly. Eagles fans agree. However, Koy is the No. 2 because he holds the kicks for David Akers, so he has to be the backup QB. Also, he's had his whole career to learn the offense, compared to Jeff, who's had less than a year with limited snaps.

In an emergency situation, if McNabb goes down in the playoffs, you can bet Blake will leapfrog Detmer for the QB spot, and lead them to a Super Bowl victory.

Threw a TD for his old team and one for his new team...what a nice guy!

Yeah, lol, and he got it over with quickly too. First pass - what a nice guy!
