BIG PROBLEM? - 08-09 BAP Rookie Redemptions

I just received my 2008-09 BAP Rookie Redemptions today. I was waiting to see which I was going to get - the cards as they were numbered on the back of the redemption cards I pulled or the cards corresponding to the card numbers that were listed when I redeemed the cards online (no they were not the same). Well, it turned out to be the second option which has me concerned that people didn't get what they were expecting. For example, I pulled a RED281 which should be Tavares according to the checklist released by Upper Deck (assuming RED281 equals RR-281). But, when I redeemed it, it said Rookie Redemption card #38. I contacted Upper Deck to try to clarify this but never received a reply. Well, it turns out that I didn't receive a Tavares but I did receive RR-318 Matt Pelech which is the 38th card in the checklist.

For the record, these are the cards I redeemed: RED281, RED284, RED288, RED288, RED291, RED291, RED292, RED294, RED295, RED296, RED296, RED299, RED303, RED307, RED316, RED316, RED319, RED320, RED321, RED322, RED324, RED328, RED328, RED330, RED334, RED338

And these are the cards I received: RR-283, RR-287, RR-287, RR-289, RR-290, RR-295, RR-296, RR-297, RR-297, RR-298, RR-299, RR-300, RR-307, RR-308, RR-308, RR-309, RR-309, RR-310, RR-311, RR-311, RR-318, RR-326, RR-327, RR-328, RR-329, RR-335

Did something similar happen to other people? Am I wrong to assume that redemption card RED281 should correspond to redeemed card RR-281? Am I misinterpreting this or did Upper Deck really screw up and going to have a lot of angry Tavares collectors (among others) on their hands?

Did one of these happen to be a Caputi? (edit - if it's for sale)

I upgraded from Reimer, Pelech and Holtby to Del Zotto, Larsson and Galiardi

Still not super but better than before
 
I swear - if they screwed this up, they're gonna catch hell from me. I bought a "Del Zotto" redemption on ebay, in addition to redeeming like 7 more I pulled...these numbers better match up, because mine just got "shipped" yesterday...

If what the OP suggested is true then I have a Del Zotto coming and will trade it to you for a Leafs BAP rookie (Stalberg or Bozak maybe) if you get one :beer:
 
Where is the 'checklist' that shows what player should be on what card that everyone is referring to? I checked UD's site and cannot find it but that could be because I am blind. :)

Anyway - the one I am trying to find out about is:
Rookie Redemption Card Be A Player Rookie Redemption #21

Probably a top notch keeper but just wanting to be sure. LOL.

just got a email saying my was shipped today
Redemption card Red316
when redeemed it said #17
supposedly is suppose to be Leino
so im hoping its right lol
 
Now I am starting to hope that it is true. I bought a Caputi on ebay thinking it was like getting a lottery ticket for Tavares. I didn't get Tavares but the number corresponds to Myers! That should help stock the trade cupboard if it is true.

Looks like Hanson, Galiardi and Caputi (provided they are switched)

I got a Galiardi too. My Redemptions were Red294,297 and 318. Did you have one of those as well. (Just wanted to check to see if they all match)
 
I believe I did have 294 so that must be Hansen. I didn't have either of the other two,297, and 318
 
After seeing this thread you all had me alittle scared of what might turn up when they arrive..

when the parcell shows I guess I will be glad either way as atleast I got something instead of some of the other UD redemptions that never get fulfilled....
sad way of looking at things but true.
and I would't be suprised of the screwup as I got shafted in08-09 artifacts...red290 depicts a detroit red wing , yet they shipped card 290 which is berglund (st.louis blues)
not saying helm is better or worse then berglund just that UD did't get it right.
