Biggest McRip Ever!

Hello All,

Been out of the hobby forums for awhile and only really going to local trade nights when time permits but figured this pull probably warranted a post.

Of all my years of ripping wax, biggest hit has been a card worth around $100. Usually do well with quantity and not quality......well that might have just changed.

After the typical Sunday football get together with friends, and watching the Steelers squeak out a win (Big Ben Injury ) we decided to go to the LCS and rip some packs.

Couple random packs of O-Pee-Chee, Artifacts, and Team Canada and this card decides to show up...

Was pretty stoked thinking the card was probably worth a couple hundred, check eBay and quickly realize it's just a little bit higher.

Contemplating what to do with the card, at it's current value I wouldn't mind parting with it to either get some big PC cards and/or cash.

Let me know your thoughts, and how you felt when finally getting that big pull!

Actually it was from Andy's in the NW, been open about a year now in the Hidden Valley community.

Sell sell sell. Once his autos are of him in an Oilers uniform that card will take a dive.

personally i think he is going to be a a great player, but what if the hype is a little too much and he is more alexander daigle than wayne gretzky?

i do not concur with the oilers jersey sentiment ive seen being tossed around the hobby and beckett though in regards to this being team canada. I think his minor league stuff , itg and leaf will decrease but the canadian jersey stuff will remain strong even after oilers stuff hits market

Now that a hit of a lifetime! Wow! Personally, if you were contemplating on selling, now would be the perfect time before all of his Oilers RC's start hitting the market. Numbered super low, so I couldn't see value dropping all that much, however, if you sit on it the Oilers RC's might "pull" collectors off of your Team Canada card they're be saving their pennies for something else.

$$$ For PC cards are never a bad thing either.

No doubt you'll find a buyer though. Crazy pull. Good luck with whatever you decide to do!
