In case you haven't heard, KURT ANGLE signed last night at NO SURRENDER with TNA!! This is the biggest news within the last year in the wrestling business, other than that Vince Russo has also been brought in to join the creative team, and TNA IMPACT now has a Primetime slot with several two hour shows in the next 6 months!

This is sooo awesome for NWA-TNA, as they are getting better and better each month with talent, and ratings. Soon they'll straight up compete with the WWE, especially since Angle is there now, he was the #1 free agent in wrestling, and they did it without anyone knowing until late last night at No Surrender, people had to sign confidentiality contracts not to tell anyone about this, I can't wait until next week when Angle will be on TNA tv!

All this taken from rajah.com!

I'm not really a wrestling guy but that is pretty big news. The WCW vs. WWF in the late 90's was freaken awesome!! Maybe TNA can start to compete now and force both franchises into better scripts, etc.

Why did Angle sign? I thought he left WWE on a "personal" matter? Like he was having issues...

I use to like wrestling back in the early 80's but seldom follow it now other then track down a few for graphs. I guess that is good news and will make both WWE and NWA better as each compete for viewers. I didn't realize Kurt was as big of a name as he currently has become.

Well he left for some personal reasons, but mostly it was that he has worked for so many years straight in WWE without ever really taking time off. Wrestlers who usually take time off get "injured" as an angle for them to take time off, Angle hasn't done this in years, and has wrestled through a lot of pain. But in NWA-TNA since they only do 1 hour shows and it's always almost in the same place unless it's PPV then it takes such a less toll on his body, other than WWE where he was moving to a different city every other day literally because of House Shows, and then Smackdown, and then PPV's!

He better not push himself too hard in TNA, he was already injured to begin with, all it takes is one badly placed bump and we will be having a memorial for Kurt.

I forget who I was talking to at the time, but I was thinking out loud that Kurt was going to sign with TNA ever since I heard that he left WWE... guess I was right ;)
