I'm contemplating whether or not I want to put up either my 07-08 or 08-09 completed Black Diamond sets for trade or for sale. It's cool having the full 1-210 set, and I definitely enjoyed the challenge (seemed a lot harder in 07-08 for some reason) but if I could get something (probably a few somethings) I really wanted for the Habs PC or some $$$ I'd be tempted.
The question arises: what type of value would one ascribe to the set?
The full value for each of the 210 cards in 07-08 is $1323.05
The full value for each of the 210 cards in 08-09 is $1345.15
I'm sure you're not the only one wondering how it's possible that 08-09, with its rather uninspiring rookie class and listing all the double and triple diamonds at common base card value, manages to be "worth" more than the superior 07-08 set. Aaaanyways . . .
Obviously the trade/sale value on a full set isn't the equivalent of its component parts, so *if* I were to put these up, what would be a reasonable value?
