Black Friday Break! Black Diamond, Superlative, Random Sale Stuff

So, per the usual, I snagged some cheapo Black Friday boxes. Really liked the look of Black Diamond so I decided I'd grab a box of that, as well as one of Superlative. Here's the damage:


2017-18 Black Diamond

- Think I did ok, especially compared to some of the nightmare boxes I've seen. The Jost is a nice hit, and the Crosby is a cool addition to the PC. Potvin is nice, too. For whatever reason, I have had good luck with pulling his cards.



2017-18 Superlative

- EVER SO SLIGHTLY disappointed with this box, as I've seen plenty of flat out loaded packs. The Lemieux is a nice hit for the PC, though. The the Detroit Six Piece is nice.



2009-10 Between The Pipes (Got an absolute steal on 2 boxes
from eBay)

- Yes, I got two Moog autos :brow:. The Varlamov is a Gold 1/1, though. Actually the second 1/1 Varlamov I've pulled.



2012-13 Limited

- Really can't go wrong with how cheap this stuff is. The Kopitar is a nice hit.

- More cheap Black Friday stuff. The Price /25 is actually a patch.

- Junk, but it was cheap! I still have nightmares about paying $100 a box of this stuff at the Fall 2012 Expo, and the best hit I got was a Big Buff auto :loseit:!!

Me too. Ironically, I've cracked cases of 10-11 BTP and never hit one. First time I've ever opened 09-10.

Yeah I saw a box on eBay for super cheap, and snagged it. Then the seller offered me another one at the same price. Glad I took it.

It's sort of like Leaf Masked Men early this year. All boxes were at the worst very good, and people were getting great value out of every box. Now it seems like the only boxes still out there are selling for over 50% more than they originally were.

Loved the BTP design. So much so that I put together the Stick. Pad, and Glove sets!!

That's awesome, bet that looks sharp.
