This is a truely awesome game, figure why not post here and maybe get a bunch of HI members to play together. I'm on PS3 some are on xbox, good idea?
 
I am not into shooters but my friends here went and got it and i havent seen them in days lol.

I am on ps3 as well but I don't have the game yet. Not sure if i should get it or not. Mixed reviews.
 
I just picked it up on 360 yesterday, played for maybe 2 hours before going into work. So far I'm not impressed. The campaign is boring mostly because it seems so far to be all flashbacks.

Online, not impressed either, I find the graphics to be too arcade looking, and my god every once in a while it appears the frame rate just drops, for a couple seconds.
 
I'm really enjoying the wager matches, get a group of friends together and we have hours of fun playing them. Haven't really got hooked on the campaign yet and multiplayer is the same as always but still crazy addicting
 
I just finished campaign mode and I liked it, but I have pretty much liked every campaign mode on most of the COD's. Zombies is back which is awesome, as long as they can keep it glitch free should be fun. Multiplayer I haven't messed around with much yet but it is going to take some getting used too. I don't think I will be matching my MW2 KDR of 2.0 anytime soon.
 
im loving the multiplayer. im level 34 right now and ive only been in one match where someone is using a noob tube. i love it. maps are bigger, more hiding spots. graphics are great imo. i play on an led tv and notice a HUGE improvement over the graphics in MW2

I love it too!!!! Beating the game and unlocking the zombie map where you are either JFK, R. Nixon, or F. Castro is amazing! Hearing them use famous quotes while killing zombies .....what else can you ask for?!?!?

I should try the campaign then. I own 40 plus games and have not finished any of them. I am strictly an online guy.
 
Well I must say... I haven't played Black Ops in over 2-3 weeks now, not sure why, guess I just got bored of it. I find the lobbies to be horrible. Why the server insists on putting me in a lobby where everyone is that much better then me I don't know? And sometimes very rarely I am put in a lobby where I clean right up..... Thought by now they could match players skills a bit better then this.
 
Finished the campaign (which was great) and just started playing online (for the first time ever). I am terrible at it :foottap:
 
i bought it the day it came out and played it for about 2 days. ive already sold it on ebay. i thought the online graphics were horrible, the kill streaks were stupid, and the weapon selection was weak. give it back to infinity ward!!

Haha, I pretty much agree with all of this. I haven't put Black Ops in for weeks and I was pretty good at it. The multi-player is broken- the lag is terrible no matter how your connected, the frame rate is terrible which is why the graphics suck. PS3 users didn't get the same quality game as Xbox. I have gone back to MW2 but not playing near as much. I will probably be selling my copy of BO very soon, before I get sucked in to spending money on map packs for a broken game!!!
 
I'm looking forward to it. I despise playing FPS's online since it mainly consists of a bunch of people who make it their life mission to find ways to glitch the games, so what I've seen of the game so far absolutely owns MW2 in every aspect, not that it would be hard to do. In terms of single player gameplay, Pong would own MW2.
 
My two cents and a rant. This game has been out for a couple of months and people(mostly girls) are still talking about it like it's the best thing since sliced bread. I have heard all the criticisms and the from what I gather it's just another game and people need to stop spamming on their face book that they are playing the game all day. GET A LIFE. Rant over =).
