So I am meeting a guy to buy some cards off of, he also happens to have a Orr RC BVG7....Just from the look of the scan I believe it not to be sheet cut BUT...

My questions are this...

1- Are there any dead giveaways about the Orr RC that would make you believe it is not legit?

2- If it is a pack pulled card....at BVG7....what would you value it at?

Thanks for the help guys.

Let me preface by saying that I'm not an expert on this. But, if it is a BVG 7, I don't see how it can be sheet cut unless they did a terrible job. The whole point of sheet cutting is to get a 9.5 or 10.

If the back of the card is white and not more of a beige color, I would be concerned. Also, the thickness of the card would be worth checking since most of the reprints are on thinner card stock. There is also a mark to look for on the back that would indicate a reprint that is not on the originals. I would value a BVG 7 at roughly $3500 - $4000. I would be interested in the card if it is legit and was available for a decent price.

The sheet itself can have wear on it, though. Creases and stains are entirely possible.

Hey guys, I appreciate the info!! The guy mis-spoke, its a BVG6, card looks legit to me. Edges are really good (but not too good lol). Looked at alot of Legit Orr's and edges all seem pretty decent for how old it is...my Roy and Lemieux have much rougher edges.... The color is definately right and is consistent throughout. Looks like I am gonna have to make a run at this baby once the guy grts back to town...wish me luck, should be an interesting session. Lol
