Bobby Ryan question....

What's the story with him?

Where's he playing....when will he make his NHL debut....is he a good prospect (I say yes...have to be to be picked 2nd overall)....etc


I am considering collecting him...but to the best of my knowledge, i believe he has 2 autos on the market.....is this correct?

I see he suffered an injury that kept him out for a while last season (?),,,he's not 'Lindros' injury prone is he?

He's playing in OWen Sound of the OHL. He's been there for three years. He's got an issue with his speed, but he's got great hands and ability. He was working on his skating last year and things seemed to be going well. Went to camp this year, got cut and sent outright back to Junior, and then pouted for the first three months of the season. He's starting to put it back together, but his attitude is a little suspect at this time.

I'm not sure he's got 2nd overall potential, but he should be a great player once he gets a chance.

There's so much young Talent in anaheim that they can afford to be patient with Ryan, whether he likes it or not.

This could be the best time to collect him if you think he will come close to "2nd-Overall" potential.
If the concensus on him out there is poor, his cards should be rock bottom and have only upwards to move in value and desirability...

He is talented and could be overshadowed by the likes of Getzlaf and Perry, which is good for you. the Ducks are turning into a real power in the West and a winner combined with a young stud equals gold in some collectors eyes. Get on him now before someone else gets wise to it!
