Hate to break it to you, but it's a NUMBERS patch. The Red Wings numbers are solid color anyway.

Unless you get a piece a jersey attached to the name or number, it will always be a single color. The Wings are the only team to have single color name and numbers. The only true two color patch would be on the emblem on the front of the jersey

I agree, I think in the name numbers department if the name or number is single colour on the jersey, I would prefer a solid piece of one colour number than a piece of jersy and number,
