Brett Hull auto legit?

A guy is trying to sell this card on an other site. The auto, where it is on the card looks way off to me. Looking for opinions.

The pen used here seems far thicker than every other example I've seen of the card. Ditto the positioning. My guess is the serial number was added to an in-person signed card after the fact. And tbh, I'm not crazy about this being a legit in-person sig as well.

Agreed. The ink is much thicker than my copy.

And the 2500 is not a clean match to my 2500. Granted, when you tag something 2500 hundred times, you're going to get some variation.

Ask to see a scan of the card back. The autos #/2500 all have the UD hologram on the back in the shape of a diamond where as the non auto cards have the normal puck shaped hologram.

If they can't show you the complete back, I would stay away.

If they sent you a scan of the back with the hologram cut off, they know exactly what you're looking for and they're trying to play stupid. I own a copy myself, and the signature looks very much like the one rvelligan posted, maybe even lighter.

Since this was only their second year of releasing a hockey product, and the first autograph they included, I'm *very* glad they thought of this issue ahead of time and released the autograph with the different hologram.

Exactly my first thought! If they're sending you a copy of the back, with the only authenticator CROPPED OUT what the hell does that tell ya! Runnnnnnnn
