Does anyone know if carriers like FedEx and UPS charge brokerage fees on domestic mail? I'm thinking of sending someone some hockey gear (Canada-Canada), but wouldn't want them to pay a bunch of brokerage fees. I ask only because I've bought stuff off the Internet and when I receive packages from other areas of Canada, I haven't been dinged with extra charges, but maybe that's because the sender has an agreement with their carrier? Any help would be appreciated!
