The Boston Bruins didn't wait long to replace Aaron Ward by signing defenceman Derek Morris to a 1 year deal at 3.3 Million. Boston is now Morris's fifth NHL team NYR,PHX,COL,CGY.
it's an upgrade over ward (younger, better offensively which we need) but i worry about the financial implications and thank my lucky stars it's only a 1 - year deal.
makes the kessel contract interesting as i'm confidant there is now less bucks for him.... i don't see him hanging around beantown beyond the year anyway.
So the Bruins have improved there chances of keeping the puck out of the net.. We someone to put it in the net.. Krejci will be better... there are a lot of young guys on the team and in the system do we see a Marchand or someone else from the P-Bruins coming up to step into a role for cheaper $$.. I am not putting a lot of stock on Byron Bitz but what the heck.. Not trying to change it up but I guess I did.. lol
