I've had a ton of luck with Topps Pristine this year. Pulled my first 1/1 out of it; plus the cards are beautiful. Authentix has some nice cards, but almost all of their autos are redemptions. SPx is a lot better than last year, only it's still expensive and the rookies this year aren't nearly as good as last year. I don't know why people don't like this year's Bowman; I love it. But don't expect to pull anything that you can sell for much out of it. Sweet Shot is hit or miss as always, but whoever remembers my case break from a little while ago knows that there is some SWEET stuff that you can pull. To refresh your memory, out of one case, I pulled a Jordan auto, a John Stockton auto /10 (which I traded for a Larry Bird Exquisite Patch Auto /100 and some other sweet cards), a Dwight Howard Blue auto, which are one in every 8 cases (960 packs), a LeBron auto redemption, a Dennis Rodman auto, a LeBron jersey, and many MANY other lower-end autos and jerseys.
I'd say this: If you save up for a case, get Sweet Shot. But just remember that you'll be taking a big gamble if you do. If you're gonna use that $240 right away, invest in some Pristine.
