Can anyone explain this?

I just noticed this card listed on ebay:

My problem is with the size of the swatch, I've never seen a jersey from this set with such a small swatch. Normally, they look like this:

Was it sent out as a replacement or something? Just seems odd.

Can't explain it but all the Chara's were like that. Weird considering the amount of jersey the guy has.

That's the first normal size Chara I've seen? Of course I don't exactly look for them.

Oh how about that, thanks for the info. Perhaps that's why the Chara with the normal sized swatch sold for $6.50.

I'm almost certain I recently had a Chara that had a normal sized swatch piece.

If I remember right, these were inserted into the "4 packs + 1 Game Used Jersey" blister packages in Canada wal-mart and zellers, for whatever reason, they feature a smaller jersey window than the regular pulls from the packs. There was a Yzerman (05-06 UD1?) that has a smaller swatch too.

Dave is correct, they did the same thing with several cards, including 05-06 UD Yzerman jersey, and 05-06 ICE Belfour Jersey. all with swatches smaller than usual.

Thanks for the info guys. I did know about the existence of the Yzerman, but didn't know exactly where it came from.
