can someone confirm if this McDavid ARP is legit?

My question, where is that patch from?

It's not a number or a letter off of a name bar... IMO. :detective:

If I'm not mistaken a lot of the photoshoot jerseys UD uses have the number 88 on them, since it gives them the maximum number of multicolor patch swatches.

That card was a bit beat up from what I remember. Love how the corners are not visible. It likely is legit but I still wouldn't touch it. If I was asking 10K US at that for a card I'd show close up Hi-res photos. It just seems rather shady which is why I passed on that card.

Did you see the card in person?

I was offered it for $6k cad. I asked for some more pictures to get a better idea on the condition of the card, haven’t heard back since.

LOL like others said. If you're listing a card like this...how do you not post 5+ pictures of all corners, front of the card, back of card, etc? Odd..

Run away. No pics of the corners, no back of the card picture, the item description is two sentences and the condition description is for a CD or DVD.

I've seen that card before but not in person. I was in the market for that card but it just didn't sit right with me so I eventually found one elsewhere.

I saw many similar cards like that one pulled on release night, I would suggest if you have time to youtube early cup breaks to see them pulled, a labor of love I suppose

re: condition description, that’s just ebay’s boilerplate text when you select “very good” as the condition of just about any item.

When I used to sell comics, it prompted me to select the condition description relevant to the item I was selling. Maybe it's changed? I haven't sold on eBay for years.

There are lots of those Exquisites of Mcdavid with the same patch, so I don’t doubt the authenticity of the patch too much. Very likely of photo shoot origin, as was alluded to earlier.

I think I know who the seller is. Not a grifter by any stretch, a fairly good dude but typical of that market right now: a little overimpressed with mcdavid's hobby value.
