Canada digital sales reporting Ebay

This seems to be going under the radar. For anyone that does not know here is the link. This is a big change.

Basics...if you sell anything over $2800 or 30 sales it will be reported to CRA.

Got that notice too. Had to provide me SIN.

Now need to figure out how I show it’s not profit/income and I’m actually losing money on this hobby.

I suspect this will lead to more sellers offering more cards/memorabilia on Facebook Marketplace and sports card shows.

Yeah, wonder when the government is going to try and go after online trading/selling sites. I mean, they already use Facebook inside the Court of Law as admissible evidence and it's been used for many years.

So when do they go after facebook marketplace as well?

In the same boat as SNobles and I'm sure many others, need to show that I am not making money on my eBay selling!
