Canada Post - delivery confirmation.. is there such thing?

I've never had a problem with people not receiving their cards/trying to screw me over saying they didn't receive when they did.

But is there some affordable fee for delivery confirmation? I know there's tracking and such with Xpresspost and registered.. I ask this for items below $50 bucks that don't really require the more expensive shipping methods.

I've never sent cards with delivery confirmation (got screwed over once) but I've heard that if you print labels through paypal, it has a confirmation feature? Can anyone confirm this?

No there isn't. They have delivery confirmation included in their parcel service now, but there is no equivalent to the USPS service that can be applied to bubble mailers.

Xpresspost is about the cheapest you'll get for delivery confirmation in Canada, so you're looking at somewhere in the $8-10 range or closer to $15 if shipping to the U.S.

Xpresspost does NOT offer any kind of delivery confirmation. It's fast and somewhat tracked. That's it. Signature confirmation of delivery is an extra $1.50 charge on top of the Xpresspost postage.

Registered mail provides signature confirmation of delivery and costs $7.50ish in addition to postage, regardless of destination. A superior service for the money.

Its got a tracking number with a status that changes to 'Delivered' most of the time. If Canada Post does their job, it works for Paypal - up to $250. After that you need a signature. Its not good for international, but within Canada it is my means of choice. 'Registered' means little to eBay buyers other than 'slow'. With eBay set up the way it is, I'll take fast any day. I've had registered packages internationally never show up with any type of online confirmation either. Luckily, the buyers weren't out to scam me.

Registered mail to the US costs $12.50 + postage.
