Has anyone noticed lately the sharp increases in postage for bubble mailers.

Today I packaged 2 bubbles with the exact same number of cards. One I put inside a 25count box which cost me 8.37 to ship. I put the same number of cards into various team bags which was not as thick for just under $3 bucks.

How the hell do I have a $5 dollar price difference. I have never had to worry about this in the past but this is beyond rediculous.

ON top of that, I got a return mail from the post office for insufficient paid postage which states I need to pay 6.49 for the letter to go out. I took the peel off sticker off of it, went back tothe post office and they charge me only $2.08 to ship it.

How the hell did they screw that up, in my favor of course but has anyone noticed this sort of inconsistency.

it is because the 25 cnt holder made your package a parcel. if you packed thinner than 2 cm it can go for an oversize letter ranging from 1.18-1.96-2.75 (to canada) depending on weight.

ya i wish i knew that... i never had issues before cuz i only sold 1 card per envelope when I was doing ebay. Lately I am trading my base for inserts and getting killed on postage.

i always only use team bags with the bubble mailers, and dont put more than 25 cards, regardless of what they are,in the padded envelopes out of fear of one of those sorting machine malfunctions that damage the envelopes, ive had too many bad expierences with those with my TTM autographs to trust them to regular envelopes, and i always only use 2 .98 stamps on each letter, and they seem to go through without a problem
