We went down to see the first game but had plans today so we couldn't go so i didn't hear the call during the Slovakia game.For sure TSN is going to be pro-us but it is a little too much to take even for me.

Great game for Canada. Sweden was too weak though. What happened to them, no more talented players ? They had so many powerplays and didn't do anything. In fact Canada could score with two guys in the penalty box in the first period but the goalie made some saves.

the sweden junior system has been struggling to produce decent players in the past few years. Great to see Canada get the win, I hope they can keep it up.

Sweden got stomped like a narc at a biker rally in spite of a rash of ridiculous penalties being called against Canada. I'm not saying they shouldn't call the stickwork - if it's zero tolerance, then those are the right calls to make - but for heaven's sake WHY wasn't Sweden being called for holding or obstruction? Heck, the way they were doing it, it should be two minutes for HUGGING.

I think the one he let in against the Swiss was the worst. Where he was standing there, the Swiss player lets it go....and it's between his skates. He looked like he didn't even notice that it hit his pads, let alone go through them. He was just standing there.
