Canucks Equipment Sale Pick Ups and a Meigray Mailday

Got to go to the Vancouver Canucks Equipment Sale last weekend thanks thecooker24's season ticketholder card (Thanks again Greg).

Lined up nice and early with canucksfan77 and chadsexington. Alot of nice stuff this year, but the prices on sticks, gloves, skates gone up a bit from previous years.

Heres what I grabbed:

Mats Sundin Used Stick

Johan Hedberg Used Pads

Funny that my pre-order from MeiGray arrived the same week as my equipment sale purchases (Hahahahaha, not laughing when I look at my Mastercard Statement).

Surprisingly the Hedberg pads were quite the deal for $150. They had Raycrofts pads for $1,000 and Luongos pads for $1,500.

Jon and I saw them at the first equipment sale I went to with him which was December '07. They had them out for $800 then...so I guess gradually they dipped in price a bit more and more each time they were neglected till I saw Jon excitedly running up 5 minutes into the sale lugging the pads and a couple sticks :laugh:

I still haven't shared what I picked up...hell...I haven't looked at them since Sunday. They've been sitting in my garage since the day of because I didn't want to bring the hockey stink into the house

Craig...I wish I had your phone number buddy...I passed by a bunch of Raymond stuff, along with a Schneider blocker and trapper (though that combo was $700 or $800) and didn't pick them up because I wasn't sure if you collected or wanted gamers. Better coordination for next year :beer:
