Reports on Lack getting his 3rd straight start tomorrow. Tomorrow is the Heritage Classic game and even though Lack has been great, to put your back up in the big game is huge.

Luongo's response...

Luongo said he had been looking fwd to this game from start of year
Lu: "I don't want to go through this whole thing again"
Luongo: "I've always wanted to play in an outdoor game."

Now Elliot Freidman is reporting that the Canucks are quietly exploring the trade martet for Luongo.

Interesting

Or, it could be as simple as Lack has played very well for two games, and Torts is going to keep him in until he craps the bad. Then Luongo goes in... until he has a bad game, then Lack goes in, and so on.

This is all overplayed by the media. Either the media is looking for any reason to bring up a Luongo controversy at the deadline again or the Canucks just enjoy playing mind games with him. If I were Luongo I'd be so sick of this by now.

Bingo. Play me or trade me. The way the Canucks have handled him is a joke.

He is the most abused player, let alone star player, in all of pro sports. Wish the Islanders would trade for him and get him out of there. He's got some good years left and the Isles aren't against bad contracts.

The first time he had a NTC and had specific teams he would/wouldn't play for. This time, will he just accept a trade to any team as long as he knows he won't be in a goaltending controversy again?
