Card Shops in Winnipeg?

Hi,

I am going to Winnipeg in a few weeks and was looking for a worthy card shop that has a good selection of Hockey (1st) and Baseball (2nd) boxes - both old and new. I also have a few singles to find, but the boxes will be suffice, as I can source the local card shop for singles.

I'd recommend three shops here... AJ's Sports in the outlet mall, Superstars Sports and Joe Daley Sports Cards.

Don't forget to hit Lower Level. Amazing variety of new and old sealed product.

I've only ever been inside his store once, about 3 years ago? It always seemed that when I drove there, he was closed? I think he goes golfing alot in the summer or something, maybe that is why i had such poor lucking making it there. I should try again one of these days.

He's usually open Monday-Friday during the day and has been closed on weekends this summer. Definitely a place to try if you haven't been in a while - you can find some gems in there.

Re: Cancentral ... If I recall correctly, I would usually try going around lunch hour to early afternoon on a weekday, as I work in the Polo Park area. I tried maybe 3-4 times total and ended up getting inside once. Too long ago for me to remember much about his stock. I do remember it seemed fairly spacious inside. I'm not buying any current product so maybe he would have some long forgotten gems.
