Card You Kinda Forgot You Had

So I was going through some of my stacks of cards the other day and I came upon this:



Pretty cool! Back in the day I was trying to do the 05-05 SP Game Used Auto Draft set (still one of my all time faves) and got pretty far before giving up. I kept a few, but had kind of forgot about them.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Ever been surprised by a card still in your possession?

Kept it on my desk for a few weeks after it arrived & admired it often, then tucked it in a box in a teambag behind another card. Just recently I was flipping through that box & saw 2 cards in the bag, flipped it over & noticed it was that one. Had actually forgotten all about it. Not sure how I forgot having the one card I've wanted since I was a kid but it happened

This is one I just found in a binder with a bunch of other random Roy stuff. I happened to look in there to put away an oddball item sent from a fellow member on here.



I sold off a lot of my non BTP Roy stuff years ago but I worked for 7 years at McDonalds and just couldn't part with this cool patch.

I remebers all my cards of my PC-guys.
But I was pretty shocked in the last year or early of this year when I experienced that 99-00 Goalie Cam card was actually openable when I was going to change the dirty penny sleeve into a new one.

I never knew about this concept even if I bought the for 12 years ago...I always liked that the card was ugly and that name "Goalie Cam" never make a sense....until that time!

I dont have a card per se, but one day i was going through my father's and I autograph baseball collection and I stumbled upon this. I normally keep all of my autographed pucks in an appropriate holder, but I guess I didn't have one at the time so i put it in a baseball holder.

Apparently it was a birthday gift of mine as well lol. Needless to say I'm happy to have one Gretzky auto

I have to go through my collection every so often so I remember the cards that I DO have, but I have found cards that I never realized I had.

There's one that I have but haven't seen it in years since I "stowed it away in a safe spot to return to it later" (but ended being a few months later...yeah, totally forgot about it. It happens.)...Brodeur 00-01 Topps Premier Plus Private Signings...Lost it years ago, I know what room it was in, totally poofed, not anywhere. THIS is one very nice card that I hope I never forget about again. Now only if I can remember where...

Yeah, recently was reminded of a lot of cards I'd forgotten I owned. Like why do I have not one, but multiple autographs of Chuck Kobasew?!
