Title says it all, what are some cards you would love to see made?

1) Gary "Suitcase" Smith, with suitcase memorabilia piece.
2) A complete series from Famous Hockey Movies such as Mighty Ducks and Slapshot. Game Used pieces and autographs. Would be a killer set of cards!

Looking forward to others feedback.

1) Coaches and General Managers. Most of their names much more recognizable than lower line players and would be well collected. Pannini did a "Behind the Benches" coaches autograph set recently. It was small but the autographs continue to sell very well.

2) World Hockey Association. I really wish ITG could have did this before they sold. I think enough 'legends' appeared in the league (Gretzky, Howe, Hull, Messier, Plante, heck even the Rocket coached the Nordiques for a couple games) that they could carry a set that would also feature some of the lesser known, WHA only guys and goons.

Game Used Material that are dated to the "moment" on the card similar to the Topps now moment cards.

For example "Sean Monahan scores 3 Powerplay goals in 1 period" with a game used jersey dated from that game used by Monahan.

Doesn't have to be Auto'd, but would be great if it did have an Auto.

I LOVE THIS!!!!! I know ITG did some WHA for that 72 release but this could be a fantastic Idea for some card company to take on, perhaps a 50th anniversary of the start up of the WHA. It would be a niche market since there hasn't been a legends set in a while which leads me to my biggest want......

A Legends only licensed set. I'm not a fan of the new and legends mixed in. It's been 12-13 since the last big one from Panini and the Classics have lived up to the name. What a beautiful set, Like to see another

This. Add referees and it's a winner.

I think A LOT of people (me included) would love an autographed card of Joey Moss. If you were ever an Oilers fan, you know how iconic that man is.

Back in 1990 I really enjoyed the proset coaches and ref cards, I would enjoy those again. I would actually love to see someone do proset again. I think UD is doing a fantastic job with OPC, I bet they would do a go proset and OPC Premier. Keep them as lower end entry level sets like OPC and I bet they would have a winner, maybe throw in some errors just for nostalgia lol.

I have also said for years I would love to see a set from the hockey movies. Mystery Alaska, Young Bloods, Slap Shot, Mighty Ducks 1, Miracle etc....

Manufactured historical Memorial Patch cards. There are so many incredible patches honouring a number of players. It would have a similar vibe to the OPC logo cards.

Jagr journey jersey with all his teams on it. I would love to see more WHA game used especially some of the characters from the league not just the stars.

not sure if this has been done or not but a one time release of game used or dual auto or both

number 99

#1 on my list.... and this would be a great one for UD's AHL set this year. A card commemorating Bill McDougall's playoff run with the Cape Breton Oilers in 1993. 52 points (26 G / 26 A) in 16 games. The 25th anniversary is coming up - would be a great time to do it (auto'd version too!)

After that - there are two thing that would interest me the most have already been mentioned:

1. Movies (specifically Slap Shot for me, but if you made this a large insert set you could include lots of other movies). Panini had a few people from Slap Shot sneak into sets (someone in their product development was clearly a fan) but this could be done on a much bigger scale.

2. WHA stuff - If you can get into Autographs of guys that have not already signed for card companies (and GU from guys that have not had GU before). Making the 8 millionth Bobby Hull or Wayne Gretzky auto'd card, but using a WHA photo, isn't nearly enough.

Finally.... I would enjoy (maybe as part of an OPC release?) seeing "rookie cards" of guys that never had cards made. Think of a few of the YGs in 2004-05 Upper Deck, some of the cards in ITG Franchises, or Fleer Throwbacks.

I always think of the Crosby/Ovechkin Cup Tribute cards, those are my favorite!

Might be a little overboard for what I had in mind.....

I meant along the lines of Hobby Baker getting a RC in 04-05 UD, or Bill Masterton in ITG Franchises (others too, in both sets).

There are tons of players over the years that never had cards... Could even arbirarily start with the 1989-90 season, and make "90-91" style OPC (or UD??) Cards of players from that year, that never got cards... give them the RCs they never had.

Do 10-15 players from 2 or 3 seasons (if this was OPC... that could be 30-45 SPs as part of the set, but maybe a "tribute" design)

In 1986-87 Kraft came out with a set Kraft Drawings. Which consisted of all 6 Canadian teams.
I’d love to see the more Kraft Drawings. This time though all of the US teams from 1986-87.
