Looks like this is another rookie card that has doubled recently. Great hockey market, finally have a star goalie, and having a good return to play as a team.

Actually most of the Philly players increased.

People are starting to realize that this is a pretty solid Flyers team (albeit with no true star anymore as Giroux may be slowing down a little). Hart was a stud in round-robin and showed up laser focused in Game#1 while his teammates gifted turnover after turnover to Montreal in the 2nd period. Previous Flyers teams would have lost that game. The difference last night was Carter Hart and he will probably be the star of the team going forward ala Carey Price for the Canadians.

Yet a shorter printed BGS 9.5 Giroux YG goes for like $50-70 CDN.

I think his card will be more valuable after retirement when fans cool down and realize how good his career was. However as a Flyers fan, we don't necessarily "love" Giroux. He has always frustrated me as a Captain. He tends to disappear for too long during the season and hasn't been a great even strength contributor points wise for a while now (although can't knock his face-off prowess or defensive play). Also, for so many years (and through multiple coaches), the Flyers 1st periods and period restarts were horrific. The team never looked ready to play. Some of that blame has to be with the Captain for not setting the example every night of being prepared and giving maximum effort every night.

If he explodes during the playoffs or if the Flyers go to the finals all bets are off on the value going up.

I think it's great that our small section of the hobby (Hockey) is picking up steam. A lot of cards were, and still are, so undervalued. It's just too bad that the value isn't there at product release for people who like to actually break wax. Hockey is so rookie driven, it takes years for a lot of these RCs to garner any value. Veteran cards need to catch up.

Just picked up a Kubalik YG Exclusives....unfortunately one week too late. Beckett at least responding to his brief surge....$150 to $300. Won't sell it now as he is a solid player on a team with a solid market. As for Carter Hart.....oh yeah! The real deal here! Will his stuff go up like Binnington last year?? Quinn Hughes racking up points...his price is going to pass Makar?? Series 2 Rookies in Upper Deck SOOOOOO much deeper than series 1....now sold out at Universal! Go Habs Go! Who am I kidding?

He reminds me of Matt Murray....values shot up and actually seen one go for 18 bucks the other day. Hart is very inconsistent- shutout one day and the next let in a bunch of goals....Murray played the same way.

So glad I snagged my raw copy when he got hurt in 2019 for like $16. I wish I would've ponied up for some of his Cup and SPA cards too before the restart.
