Alomar is the best...definitely in my top 5 favorite players of all time

Ryan (Triple B) told me a story when I was visiting Toronto a few years back about how fans in Toronto actually used to chant "Catch the Taste" in homage when he went up to bat. I was in tears laughing at the story.

I wish I could find a clip, but he did another memorable segment with Tarzan Dan, who was one of Toronto's big All Hits DJs on 680 CFTR. He was supposed to record a spot where he says "You're Jammin' in the Jungle with Tarzan Dan on All Hits 680 CFTR" but his English wouldn't allow him to do it. He says "You're jamming in the jungle with Jam Dam San"...Tarzan Dan played the recording session as his station ID for about two years.

My brother is friends with Tarzan Dan, I'll see if I can get a recording from him...

Great pickup, BTW. Those cards are awesome, especially the one /50 with the great shot of the inside of the SkyDome.

Here's my fave Alomar card...I have the matching letter from McDonald's as well. Easily my best purchase ever

Nice "Catch".. I have a few Robbies that I am proud of. I have put in a request for that same card that Triple B has in this post. Hopefully I will get it at the next expo.

My favorite snag of the century was grabbing a sweet spot auto for $5 at a local show.
