this is a big loss for the Eagles

Freddie Mitchell said its misfortunate but its more passes for him on his stage.

Does he know thats classless and he ****s anyway. He is an unachieving idiot that every once in a while makes a play, but he makes a big deal out of it.

"I would like to thank my hands for being so great." another quote, what he doesnt understand is they arent that great. Hes a jerk.

I feel bad for Lewis who was a big part of the Offense yesterday.

That's too bad for Lewis, but the Patriots linebackers would have held him in check.

Freddie needs to shut his mouth, he is so dumb it's ridiculous.

I had a feeling Freddie's little standup act after the Divisonal Round wouldn't be the last time he'd run his mouth (as funny as it was). I've always hated TO and now Freddie just gave me another reason to hate Philly. Go Pats (coming from a Bills fan, it must mean business lol)!

this is just my opinion but...i like all the things some people say in conferences with the press and even watching players on the field. I love to watch T.O dance around on the field and annoy the other team. Then when the others teams complain the only thing you can do is don't let him score...chad was dancing around against the falcons too, bouncing his head and moving his body around after a first down...but thats just my opinion, im sure you guys think differently

i used to live in Philly until summmer 2003...but i am coming down to watch the game with some old neighbors

*add-on* but yeah, all the Philly receivers have never had a chance to shine...then T.O came and helped Philly in a greta way... T.O set them up this year and in the vikings game mitchell showed what he could do and he had a great game.

I still think the Eagles WRs [excluding TO] are horrible. Freddie is overrated and overhyped, Todd Pinkston is soft, Greg Lewis is decent but hasn't gotten enough chances to play, and Billy McMullen is the worst wide receiver ever.

i agree with you on the pinky part, he is a softy going after the ball...he'll miss a ball just so he won' get hit and that shouldn't be the way you go out and play

Thats definetly a huge loss, but leave Freddie Mitchell alone, he barely gets any chances to shine, hes just havinga good time. I assume none of you live in the Philadelphia area or you would realize how much he's been through and how many doubters hes had, and to step up and play good when all eagles WR's have been looked down on, its something to be excited about, this whole Eagles team is great and tehy have a shot agains tthe Pats but it definetly will not be easy

Sorry to tell you this Freddie Mitchell ****s, he acts like he has the talent of an All Pro, when he barely has enough to make the team. He's the sound bite for sports radio--what he doesnt get is they are making fun of him. How often does ESPN trot out a third rate receiver on to their shows. They know he will say something amusing but stupid--hes a joke dude

In 4 years he has 90 receptions and 1200 yards--a bunch of players had a better year this year. He has no excuse, he had a chance to be the go to guy before TO got there. He flat out is terrible

Freddie's the one who taught T.O. the Ray Lewis dance...:)

I personally don't think Freddie is a classless guy. I've actually met him and he was a nice guy. Although, this was his rookie year and things could have changed.

I just think Freddie needs to stop talking, and catch more balls.

With or without Chad Lewis, or TO for that matter, has nothing to do with the final result. Pats win again.

Agreed, it won't matter who the Eagles have on the field.

I am going to have to disagree with that. I don't see how this can be true at all, considering that anything can happen at any time. "Any Given Sunday" One play can change the entire game, and one injury can switch the entire mindset/gameplan around!!
The team that has the least amount of mistakes should win the game, and I think the Eagles are capable of making their mark.

While I agree with the Any Given Sunday Theory on most weekends, I think the signs point the Lombardi Trophy to Massachusetts. Honestly, Belichick has 2 weeks to prepare. By Super Bowl Sunday, Belichick will know when McNabb is going to use the washroom. The Pats took 2 of the best teams in football and blew them out. One of them on the road even. The Eagles have a hefty mountain to climb. Perhaps one that they will finish next year.

In my opinion, the deciding player in the game is going to be none other than Asante Samuel. As long as he keeps playing great, like in the past two weeks, the Eagles passing game will struggle to produce any sizable gains. If Philly only can manage short tosses for under 10 yards most of the time, the Pats will easily be able to capitalize on the lack of production.

Brendan, 'Any Given Sunday' does not apply when you are playing Belichick and the Patriots, the most intelligent and well-prepared team to ever grace the league.
