Champs Auto Ink Colours; mean anything??

To my understanding nope..

It has to do with the backside colour/shade of the card.

Either the ink in the back sharpie ran out or the ink in the blue sharpie ran out. I think we need Sherlocks help with this one.

While we're on the Champs topic, I have a blueback Crosby mini, C171. Does anyone know print #'s? I did the math, and came up with a print run of 3 or 4 for the blueback minis. Anyone know?

The print run is somewhere between 3-5. There are variations in ink colour... I really don't think it will amount to a price change but Holmstrom signed the majority of his cards in black ink but a few have popped up that have been signed in red ball point pen.

His Red back that i had and sold was in red ink. I assumed that was done on purpose at the time, but Ive pulled other red backs that were not. What was fun was pulling a red back Drew Doughty but the ink is purple. Woulda been cool if they had sent a pen with the ink to match the back. Maybe next year.
