Lets not get confused here....Stan Bowman built the teams that won the cup. Q was a phenomenal coach through the last 10 years and Im not sure I would have fired him, but a new coach is warranted here. Its about maintaining the culture of winning. Q didnt do it the last 2 years (even with panarin) and this is the perfect time to make the move, there is lots of season left. Hawks still have a great core and will be contenders again in 1-2 years.

It's pretty clear that the issue with the Blackhawks is the composition of the roster. If they don't figure it out Bowman should probably find himself out of a job come the summer too.
