Christmas Box Gamble

Hello guys, so this Christmas I think I'm going for a nice gamble box for sheer enjoyment and thrill, I'm not looking to make my money back or go with something safe. Here's my options so far but open to anything else.

10 11 Ultimate:
I love this set, my favorite Ultimate released with a stacked RC class and the best looking rookie autos in the set. 139.00 for 4 cards, 1 GU 1-2 AU Big Hit RC /99 (PC) or Shield


09 10 Black:
I've recently fallen in love with the Black card designs. The rookie letterman take up half of the cards in the break and its extremely hit or miss fun! 169.00 for 4 cards, 2 Letterman RC 2 GU Big Hit Booklet or High End AU

If none of that really interests you guys, I may go with 2-3 boxes of 12 13 SPGU because I think it may be a solid product this year. So thats my safe bet for right now.

I've seen some awesome stuff out of Black but I've also seen the boxes with 3 Letterman RCs and a base GU /99. As much fun of a gamble and me only trying to swing for the fences or strike out its not much of an issue. I'd probably grab two boxes of either one or of anything else but trying to keep it under or around 300. Thanks

When Black first hit I thought about collecting cards to make my ne. Now, it's not a big deal.

I too absolutely loves 2010-11 UD Ultimate. The Ultimate Signatures were awesome. Where are you finding it at $139 a box? I shopped around and found it around $95 a few months ago at a few different places.

They were just from DA, I didn't do much of a bargin hunting yet, I just wanted opinions on the product.

Now what I may consider doing is one of each but since both can have some brutal boxes, I figured if I get two of the same, theres a less chance that both will be on the weaker side.

One of each would be a cool variety. One tin of Dominion wouldn't be bad gamble, its only $310 on D&A. I was considering treating myself one for Christmas.

I'm going to take a long shower after this to clean off the dirt, but I think SPGU might be the way to go, since the product doesn't look terrible this year. If you pull any redemptions from Black, I believe they're expired now. I'm never sold on Ultimate since all the packs of it I've ever opened have been trash and it's been a more hot/cold product for me than SPGU ever has been.

When does the new SP GUE come out? I agree with Ultimate, it's real hit and miss. The last four packs I've opened over the past two years had next to nothing. A bunch of $6 cards for four $100 packs is brutal but oh well.
