Hi all,

Saw it on Cardboard Connections twitter that the NHLPA agreed to include any rookies that where in the “bubbles” to be included in 20/21 sets. They hope to get an exception for Alexis Lafreniere in the Series 1 Young Guns checklist, but still TBD.

Lafreniere will be available for UD1, yes. And that isn't surprising about the bubble rookies...players making their debut in the playoffs have always been included as "carryover" rookies for the next season, i.e. Cale Makar.

I wonder if this includes the Russians? Sorokin and Romanov are in the bubble with their respective teams but not eligible to play (Kaprizov never cleared his visa to make it in to the bubble).

edit: n/m, found the answer

If Lafreniere gets a UD1 YG, I'll have to gamble on a few blasters. A jumbo YG would be a nice consolation price :)

Is it possible that Romanov gets a YG in UD1?
