Hey gang, just stumbled upon this card, which I've determined is 69/70 OPC no number Mr. Hockey, or at least I'm pretty sure it is:

My question is, does anyone know what the error on this card is? According to Beckett online, there's 2 versions. Is it just i have one that doesn't have #193 on it? Any help would be appreciated!!!

Hi there

The no number Howe is 150.00
The numbered Howe (corrected version) is 175.00.

You have a very nice card there ..it is very hard to find a card from that set that is so vibrant white on the front. Most cards develop a light brown border from the age. Also the outside cut is near flawless. Most OPC cards from this era have at least one rough edge. I think from the scan that this card would be in the 8 to 9 range ..which would increase the value dramatically.

Thanks Rob, great info!!! I've had this card for a long time and forgot about it. I think I'm going to take a shot and get it graded, the front of the card is beautiful (that fuzz just below his neck on the left is just glue on the holder from an old sticker) and the centering is really nice. The back border is a little chippy, but I think it's worth trying anyway!
