Eric,
Thank you for the report here...I was watching Rajah's report as well and hammering on refresh to see what happened. All in all it seemed like a rather BLAH pay per view. I seriously think that TNA messed up with the return of JJ by making it obvious...kind of the same thing with Sting. I mean I get what they are doing...similar to the old WCW deal where the young guys didn't respect the established wrestlers, but to immediately throw the captains/leaders of these two sides out there (Sting and JJ) semmingly killed the momentum that this storyline could have had if they would have possibly built it up in an NWO type format of may the established guys joining sides and having a beat down here and there with no real sense of whyme or reason...then bring it back with the new generation having an uprising of thier own...back and forth for a while until a leader emerges fo each side for the "showdown".
I don't know...the whole thing seemed like such a good idea for a while and then there was no mistery to it all of a sudden. I like other viewers expected JJ to show up eventually to be the TNA saviour, but so soon was kind of a let down and to make the whole road back so obvious was just as disappointing.
I for one would LOVE for TNA to actually rival WWE and give them a good run for thier money...they have the name talant so that is not the problem...I would lay the blame to bad writing squarely on Russo's shoulders as he has a habit of rushing everything.
My two cents.
