I just use needle nosed pliers and a flat head screw driver and one thing I have not seen anyone mention the most important thing and that is: GOGGLES. That plastic can fly and hit ones eye and that can be serious. The toughest one to crack is the Beckett ones the PSA are the easiest I can crack one in less that a minute. Use the needle nose pliers on each top corners and turn downward and then just pry and pop with the screw driver.
