I just picked his up 2 weeks ago and would like to trade it for another graphic novel (series). I'm not too particular, but would prefer anything:

Infinite Crisis
Green Lantern
JLA/JSA
Rise of Apocolypse
Civil War
Spider-man

I have already read:
Watchmen (I read this 20 years too late, very underwhelming and predictable if you read it now)
Kingdom Come (enjoyed this very much)
League of Extrodinary Gentlemen (again, reading this too late - I think Alan Moore is just a burnt out acid head)
Dark Knight Returns (great - read this 'back in the day')

If anyone is interested, please let me know.

Thanks!!!

For the love of all that's holy, don't read the Dark Knight sequel if you can avoid it.

As far as another read, I suggest Bendis' "Powers".

Ya, Bendis' Powers is good but I've only read the first few issues.

You could probably find the 7 Civil War issues easily.... those are solid. Not spectacular but good and it sets up the Marvel universe for years to come. I suggested reading it if you like the Marvel characters and/or plan on reading some Marvel titles in the future... Spider-Man or Avengers specifically.

The first Garth Ennis Punisher storyline is wicked, I highly recomend it.

If you want something different try Jeff Smith's "Bone" and Stan Sakai "Usagi Yojimbo", fantastic reads. I was also floored by "Maus" book 1 & 2. BTW Maus was voted the best comic book ever in a comic poll.....yes it beat out "Watchmen", "DK returns", DD "Born again" and "Kingdom come".

The Maus books is a great story - it transcends graphic novels way beyond a "comic book". Probably even more so than Watchmen - which I still think is very overrated.

Watchmen was cool back when it first came out...it was a trend setter, sort of ground breaking. Now the concept has been beat to death.

BTW guys anyone who don't own a copy of the crisis books should do a trade with the good Captain to get it. The post is sort of gone of topic;)
