Crosby Limited Logos 250th Anniversery Patch plus replacement

Today I received my Crosby Limited Logos redemption from Upper Deck ( finally after a 1 year wait ) I think it was worth the wait, it features a part of the 250th Anniversary of the city of Pittsburgh patch that was worn on the right shoulder of the 2007/08 jersey





I was told by Upper deck that my redemption for a 12/13 SP Game used Martin Brodeur Significant Numbers auto Jersey # /30 would not be made. I was asked what I would like to replace it with and I told them I would like A Redwing of comprable value. Here is what I got.





I knew they had a problem with Brodeur autos but I think they probably found a supply of sticker autos and were able to make this card, I can't complain

I heard that the Brodeur cards/autos were lost along the way...... anyone know the reasoning behind his cards "not being made"?
