Hey guys,
I haven't been a member in the "hobby" for quite some time. Used to go by a couple different usernames, yzyman/datsyukiandeek.
I can't really consider myself to be in the hobby anymore. I occasionally open packs but the hobby has passed me by. What I do spend my time doing these days is running a hockey league. I remember a few years ago there used to be a guy on here that used to make his own trading cards featuring game used pieces of vintage players. I am very much interested in doing this but featuring my own players, along with pieces of their equipment as a gag.
Does anyone know who I am talking about? Id really like to pick his brain or get a couple tips. Or has anyone else gone through the process of making their own cards? I know Topps offers a custom card service but its extremely expensive and very generic.
