Darius Miles had a career 47 on the bench while making 19 field goals and adding 12 rebounds. Of Course portland lost and Miles is still a bust but it was a good game for him.

Miles is the shiz. He could be producing great numbers on the right team. I think he should go to Phoenix next year. :p

He played 40 minutes, and he also had 5 blocks and 4 steals.

Well that was the first and only good game of him this year. Great to see it was in the last game of the season which meant absolutely zip. =)

Yup he is a huge bust, I mean he's already 23, retirement is lingering in the short future, he obviously has just lost all ability to compete and at 23 the peak of his game has already passed him by. I mean anyone can hang up 47pts, 12 rebs, 5blks and 4stls, that's a cake walk. Definitely a Bust, stick a fork in him. That's about right.

You must not get many Blazer games in Belgium, because he's had a lot of good games this year, and has actually progressed leaps and bounds on his overall game from last year. His jumper is improving, his free-throws improved in the 2nd half of the season, he still makes some mistakes with passing, but it's improving, and his defense is very good. And considering the Blazers have a logjam 5 players deep at the three, it's not like he was able to get consistent playing time, espacially with 2 veterans in Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Ruben Patterson ahead of him, and Kryhapa and Outlaw behind him. But you should really try and watch a few games before you make judgements, it makes you look a tad bit stupid.

Ya, seriously. Only good game? Every Blazers game that I saw (national TV) he was in double figures. And don't forget, Miles came out of HS and if he stayed in college 4 years, this season would have been his rookie season.

His jumper is IMPROVING? You mean he's started to DEVELOP a jumper?
Face it, the guy's overrated. He has been ever since he entered the league and will continue to be throughout his career. He was supposed to be the Clippers' saviour and he couldn't even score in double figures for them. Put him on a decent/contenders team and he wouldn't even be the 7th man, let alone starting.

How can you say he's overrated? I haven't heard anyone call him a star or close to one before.

Please, this guy was way overhyped when he came into the NBA, then was given a ridiculous contract by the Blazers for no good reason. Like I said before, put him on a decent team and he won't even play 20 mins a game.

The Blazers have a lot of talented players and Miles still gets playing time. And its not like Miles is the only overpaid player in the league.

Right, they're so talented they finished 27-55. They start guys like Ruben Patterson and Derek Anderson over Miles, I think that says enough about his talent.

That just goes to show how little you know about the Blazers. 4 of their 5 projected starters missed a large chunk of the season, Randolph was out for about half the season, same with NVE, the only starter that played the entire year was Stoudamire. Before the injuries struck the team, they were above .500 and at the 8th spot in the playoffs. Not great, but by no means terrible, injuries hit hard, and that's a part of the game. And Derek Anderson lost his starting spot a long time ago, and hasn't played with the team the last month and a half, with the exception of a couple games, because he no longer is a part of the teams future. Ruben Patterson starts over Miles because he has more expierence, and Cheeks and Pritchard both love him for his hustle and defense. And Miles hasn't been overrated since his rookie and sophomore year when everyone was expecting the world out of him, if anything he's been written off since failing to exceed expectations. And it's not like he's the only one that hadn't lead them out of the cellar, Odom, Maggette, and Brand all failed to do so; until this season. So please Casket stop talking about something you don't even know. Watch a few Blazer games, and then comeback when you know what you're talking about.

Once again, watch a game and then speak. You honestly sound like an idiot. I'm not saying Darius Miles is an all-star, he's not the best player on his team, he's not in the top 50. But you should really stick to what you do know, and not try and preach something you haven't even seen for yourself. He doesn't have three-point range, but he's got a solid 18foot and in jumper, which is all the Blazers ask out of him.

Ya, and every team not in the playoffs has no talented players. I'm pretty sure RodneyWhite5 just shut you down but you'll come back with something irrelevant or wrong as usual.

lol I wish we could look in the future and see what Miles will have realised in his career. I'm sure a bonehead like RodneyWhite5, who obviously kicks on underachieving overrated players, will agree THEN that Miles was a complete bust throughout his career. There's a reason why people who appreciate good basketball don't watch the Blazers. I mean, not too long ago Stoudamire set an NBA record for 3-pt attemps. What was it, 21? He hit maybe 5. That's no NBA bkb, that's GARBAGE.

If all the Blazers want is a guy who can shoot an 18-footer every now and then they should've signed Steve Smith, Wesley Person or some other old guy instead of wasting millions on Miles who will lead them nowhere except the lottery.
If he's no all-star, not the best player on his team, not even in the top 50.. err.. 100 and doesn't even have 3 point range, WHAT THE HELL IS HE????

Q.Richardson- go play with your toys or go listen to some gangsta rap little boy.

BTW RodneyWhite5, who are you anyways? You have an aweful big mouth for someone with only 9 posts. I'm sure you're a punk who got banned and now sneaked back in.

Casket, your argument is always one dimensional. You are never open-minded and never look into anyone else's perspective. And it annoys probably everyone.

wow that was great. your insightful comments made me now see how Miles is a bad player.....not. it amazes me that everytime you make a post, its always right. everything you say is factual and obviously true since it came out of your mouth. If you think Miles is so bad, you must like bad players. You do like Derek Fisher, am I right? Miles is better than Fisher will ever be.

A lot more was expected of Miles than he's given any team..PERIOD. He's already bounced around to three teams and threatened to beat up Maurice Cheeks this year...
