Did anyone else get a letter from the NHLPA?

I meant to post something about this yesterday and seeing as how no one has said anything yet it has made me curious if these have gotten around to everyone yet.

Yesterday I got a letter addressed from the NHLPA regarding the BAP Draft Redemptions (heck I don`t even remember who I sent in now). It, after a lengthy read about the issues that they have had with no signing a contract with ITG and about UD stepping up to fill the void, reads at the bottom that the Draft Redemptions will look different than the ones ITG redeemed, be individually serial numbered to the number that were redeemed and will include a card that UD has never made available before as thanks. Also as an added bonus they will return all S&H fees that were sent in to cover costs. Also according to the letter they will begin mailing these out by the end of March.

Now again I don`t even remember who my card is of, nor how much I paid for S&H, but I am interested in seeing these things finally.

What are your feelings on this (and am I the only one with a letter so far?)???

Thanks,
Don

Hi Don:

I got one today. In my ever so skeptical ways I am already concerned, but possibly for no reason. I sent in two redemptions but got only one letter from the NHLPA. Every other thing I have experienced has the sender send me a form letter for every business deal I have with them. For example if I have two investment portfolios with a company, every time they send out junk mail, I get two sets. If we have two credit cards, we get two sets of junk mail every time they send them out. Do I think the NHLPA is so well co-ordinated that they sent me only one letter intentionally? Nope, not me :( At least I still have the delivery receipt and will fight this to the bitter end if necessary!

I think the S&H was $4.99US Don, but I would have to pull out my files.

As for the end of March, I won't hold my breath. The letter is pretty lame, only because I can't help wonder why the NHLPA didn't take this route a year ago. I'll give them a pat on the back for at least acting like they want to move forward. But remember, a pat on the back is only a foot away from a kick in the butt

I got a letter yesterday as well. You may also want to see the thread that Magootz started on the topic a few days ago.
