This is apparently evident on this card which is not in Global shipping but is $44.99US shipping to Canada.. ($59.65cdn) or $3.50 shipping within the US....

Yes, everything went up on Sunday. Regular first-class mail stamps went from 50 cents to 55 cents and all other services went up as well.

What was the cost to Canada from US? Surely it's not $44.99, if so, it's been nice knowing you Canada buyers.

I shipped a bubble mailer to NS this morning and it was $10.50, so it went up 50-cents. I also sent something last week Priority International flat rate envelope and it was $24.99; I believe it is now up to $25.85 (the cheapest option to offer tracking, I believe).

The $44.50 is now the Priority International Express.

It's amazing that, in this day and age, just to get tracking it is so expensive. So If I send something to Niagara Falls, US, it is under $4 and I get a tracking number. That same envelope going another few hundred feet across the river costs almost $22 more just to get tracking.

I checked the listing- He selected USPS Priority Mail Express International Flat Rate Envelope as his shipping option to Canada. Basically, it looks like he is fine with only selling to U.S. buyers.

10.50 is a $1.95 higher compared to what I had been paying with E-Bay/Pay-pal which was $8.55 for up to 4 ounces anywhere in Canada with Tracking. I can eat that increase for high dollar items but it's going to kill anything else. I may need to adjust a lot of auctions tonight.

Yea man it's unreal. Way to expensive. And half the time the tracking isn't updated properly. I just go by the custom form tracking. At least that works 75% of the time.

Yes priority mail shipping with tracking and insurance is now $45 which is insane. I still ship my high end stuff first class for $10-$15, no problems most of the time

Due to incredibly high shipping costs... I just couldn’t go any higher... o

The rates in Canada went up as well.

I think this is good place to point out that a lot of the postal increases on international mail can be traced back to policy set by the UPU:
http://www.upu.int/en.html

For oversized mail up to 100g, which is typically the standard bubble envelopes, the Canada Post increases Jan. 14 were as follows:
Within Canada: $1.80 is now $1.90
Canada to U.S: $2.95 is now $3.12
Canada to international: $5.90 is now $6.25

Seems that you could have reached out to an American member on here and asked for help. Paying $3.50 to have it shipped to someone stateside and then paying the $10.50 to be shipped to you first class with tracking would be cheaper than the seller’s option for international shipping.

Dunno what your max bid woulda been, but it sold for just under $20 dlvd to a USA buyer, you possibly could have had it for $35 or less.

That’s one of the best features of this site. Folks can be incredibly helpful most of the time.

I agree!

That sucks they charge so much shipping for card. It's not a high end card that one would require priority shipping.

Plus, there is an additional 13% tax added to those new prices.
