Did you complete your Collecting Goals for 2005?

A year ago ajbry made a thread regarding Collecting Goals for 2005. You can view that thread here if some of you posted there and don't remember what all of them were.

These were mine:

Get 7 1/1's by the end of this year Completed
Have 40 Baron Davis Autographs Completed
Get Baron Davis's SPGU Logoman 1/1 Didn't get the single, but got the dual with Mashburn

Get a Very Sweet Kobe Autograph Completed
Get 3 RC Julius Peppers Autographs Got a Julius Peppers Autograph with actually 5 other players, but no Rookie Autographs

I did get my collecting goals! They were:

Achieve 90% completion of my Vincent Lecavalier Collection (actually have 92.9%)
Achieve 50% of the 99-00 UD Exclusives set (actually have 60.3%)
Achieve 30% of the 01-02 BAP Emeralds set (actually have 32.6%)

Not a bad year if I do say so myself

Well I have well over 200 dirk GU, WELL over 5 autographs, more than 50 patches, so the dirk collection is all gravy . I stopped collecting RIP so that doesnt count anymore . As for posey, well im nowhere NEAR 90%, infact im only probably a little over 50%, but I havent scoured for his easy base cards yet either, not close enough with the rare cards to worry. And I do have a 1/1, well a press plate, but it is the only Posey 1/1 I have seen or heard of as a matter of fact, I actually know where one other one is, but the kid from beckett isnt on anymore so looks like hope is lost there

LecavalierFan: I'm not a hockey collector nor a big fan, but wow on that collection. 92% of his cards is unreal.

Paul: Why'd you stop collecting RIP? Nice on the other goals achieved.

2002 Press Pass Signings (Racing)
Got 62 of the 72 Autographs. Just need 10 more.

Same goal will be for 2006. Also in 2006 I would like to have 40 different Eric Davis autos and I currently have 10. This coming year should be alot of fun. Glad I started a second job a few days ago. Going to need the money.

- Break the 250 card mark with my Barlow collection.
I think I'm at about 270, so I'd say this is a success.

- Steadily add cards to my other collections. (Carter, Hanks, Lloyd, Wilson & Winborn)
Partly... added a bunch to my Carter and Winborn collections... that was a success. Not much to Lloyd & Hanks and I dropped Wilson completely.

- Start collecting an autograph set. (2004 Bowman Signs of the Future is in mind)
This went absolutely nowhere

Eh, can't look at it that way. I wouldn't think about the money, just the enjoyment you had. There's always next or rather this year. Happy New Year!!

Yeah I definatly got mine, but I will continue to work on my Dirk Collection harder then ever, prolly wanna get into his rare #d RC this year, since I got all his rare autos, etc

Make sure for your New Year's Resolution you have a better Dirk Collection than Paul
