This is a question I've had in my head for a while now. Do hot packs still exist? Does Upper Deck randomly insert hot packs into any of their products?

I asked this to my local dealer and he said they did but no one had gotten one. Have any of you?

The last and only hot pack I ever pulled was a 98-99 Be A Player Playoff Series pack that had all autos. I remember buying this and it was when that product was new, but I never heard of hot packs ever happening again, or even now.

Of course, I wouldn't count high-end product that gaurantees all autos, limited or jerseys.

The last product I know of with "specified" hot packs was 06-07 Fleer Hot Prospects. Hotagraphs were only available in hot packs, but if you busted one, you got five of the signature cards.

I busted a box at last year's National for the UD redemption, and got a hot pack of 5 hotagraphs. Of course 2 were redemptions!

Sometimes you get mistake hot packs, like the 3 Clear Cut Winners in one pack that I got. Pretty sure they just got stuck together.

my 07/08 ultimate collection pack i bought i think was hot pack...pulled a mueller and toews /99 plus a kane debut threads...

the toews was the reason i started collecting him...

I know that SPGU this year had hot boxes.

I have also heard of the hot cases of 07/08 BAP where every box had 1-2 rookies (2 rookies would mean one of them is the redemption)

SPGU for sure but for some reson every product that comes out someone says there are hot boxes because the odds were slightly better in a box they opened. Once there's no evidence then it's said about the next one.....Funny hey
