Do sealed boxes of Gretzky Master Collection still exist?

I don't know how many boxes were originally created, but my gut tells me "no." And if there are, they are stuffed in collections somewhere.

There are 150 US version and 150 Canadian versions made. I know some people bought the Gretzky Master Collections to set aside (as well as Upper Deck's other Master Collection offerings), so it is certainly possible that some still are unsealed 15 years after the release date.

However, it is probably safe to assume that these are in very limited quantities.

What cash value would you put on a sealed box?

From what I recall each sealed set had 99 base cards which every set included. Along with the base you'd also get a a "Mystery Pack" which for the time included some of the most high end game used and autographed cards available of Gretzky. I think one of them was a quad jersey from all four team he played on. Maybe not St. Louis, I think one was an all star piece.

Heres an example of one of the cards:

Each box had 18 base cards, and their serial number matched the box number. For example, if the box was #99/150, every base card had the serial number 99/150.

There were also four jersey cards in every box, each numbered /50. There were three different jersey cards for each team, making up the 150 print run. The Oilers and Rangers had variations depending on whether the box was the US version or Canadian version:

Edmonton Oilers (the Canadian version was signed)
Los Angeles Kings
1991 All-Star
New York Rangers (the United States version was signed)

Then there was also the Mystery Pack, which had one of the following cards:
Quad Jersey /99
Quad Jersey Autograph /9
Quad Patch /15
Quad Patch Autograph /9
Base autograph 1/1

I believe initially were sold anywhere in the $2000-$3000 range when they were released. It is certainly a very unique set.
