Is it getting close to time to trade Malkin? I think it could be time to trade Kessel. I mean they are close to rebuild even if it only means Crosby and a few others are untouchable.

I still think the untouchables are Crosby, Malkin, Guentzel, Letang, Dumo, Murray.
They need to supplement that core with that next wave of younger, cheaper guys like they did for 2016 and 2017. The window definitely isn't closed.

I agree with this. The window is NEVER closed with Sidney Crosby who is likely the BIGGEST big game player in the history of hockey. I think Sid will play out his contract and then go year to year if he still wants to play. He has 6 years left on his current deal I believe, so he will be right at 20 years in the league when this one is up.
Malkin is still ridiculous as well, he's a top 10 in the league. Scary to think a player of that caliber doesn't get the attention he deserves, but look at the shadow he plays in.
The Pens will always do what they can to be a winner and, in turn, keep Crosby happy.

Unless a goalie can unseat him as #1 I agree with Murray and the rest. Letang might be hard to trade with his contract. I'd like to see them keep Rust but I just hope they turn this around. I wouldn't be as disappointed but this series hasn't even been close. Don't think they've kept a lead for more than 2.5 mins
