Great looking card!

I don't want to rain on your parade, but you should be careful because the seller doesn't take paypal. I know I wouldn't be offering a 2nd chance offer on that card at that price. I had a similar situation with a nice card I was bidding on the other day and had to pass on it because I smelt something fishy.

I hope it works out well for you though, thats a beauty of a card.

Ya I thought of that already. Going to send a money order and express post it so at least both are trackable and if I don't get the card then at least I have backup.

And the private bidder list... I tend to stay away from those since there's really no reason why the seller shold not display them.
 
Is the price a steal? Heck Ya However, it seems way to good to be true. It's not even that good since there are many signs pointing towards you having problems. Low feedback...Granted not a negative one but the seller has nothing to lose really since he can build up that many feedbacks in a few weeks with a new account. A ridiculously low price. Why would anyone offer that card for under $10? Next, Why would anyone not pay for that card if they won it for $14?!?! Finally you can't pay with paypal meaning there is little protection for you. There are so many signs pointing towards you getting ripped here a risk I'd be weary to take.

Paying with a MO can be safe too.

If it get lost (or the seller says it get lost), there's a procedure for refund. And, if the MO had been cashed, with that procedure you know when and where it was. And, then, a little visit to the Police Office....

True but it is a huge hassle. If it gets lost that is one thing but if this guy is trying to rip off people he'll more than certainly cash it. Contacting the police is not a viable option because all he has to do is say he sent it regular mail. Then it becomes a battle of your word verse his. It's not worth all the crap that goes with it for such a small transaction.

He just stole the picture from another auction, and because you cant see the numbering he made it up. I have actually sen the real 5/15 and it does not have that patch!! I thought things were fishy since i won the card so low, so i investigated and found the same one in completed listings for like 160$ CON ARTIST!!

But, if you have the proof (an email for example) that he said that he didn't got the MO, but you have the proof that he cashed it, it's possible to do something.
