I have a bunch.....I actually did toss a bunch....was thinking of giving them away here( I did it last time only asking for cost of shipping(sent media mail)...... probably only worth it if you're in the US though. I'd probably only think about selling ones that are in good condition without a address label on them( otherwise "free").... probably only keeping ones with Pittsburgh players on them

I've actually started buying old Beckets that I don't have. Love reading the old articles.

I have written a few articles and have made a few appearances in the mag as have some of the many friends I’ve made here. Those are the only ones I’ve kept.

I made an appearance in one awhile back so I kept that one and I usually buy any with Roy on the cover when I see them at flea markets or card shops.

I have not actually purchased a Beckett for use since the 90's.

While you are still primarily paying for the price guide which is long and has a limited use according to most, the editorial content since Al Muir took the mag back over has been really good.

That said, yes, I simply recycle them as I buy them almost monthly and they take up way too much space. Mine always seem to get roughed up as well so not really collectible worthy at that point.

I used to subscribe to Beckett and I kept all of them. Haven't gotten one in years, though. Kind of miss having them for everything in them other than the pricing, lol.

I used to have a subscription for many, many years. Gave it up but still pick up a copy now and then. I still have every copy, and an extra of the Ovechkin cup one 😁

I once had a card in the Sweet Swatches section. I kept that magazine. I have a few others that I bought over the years, some are used and damaged. But I didn't buy any beckett in like the past 10 years.

YES! That's real cool and I was thinking a few months ago that I wish I kept that massive stack of 1998-2005 Beckett's that I had piled in the closet because I want to go through them all.

I actually wish Beckett would just drop the price guide and focus on well written articles. I haven't bought a Beckett in decades, but would be willing to try it if they made that change.

I'd buy that. Good Idea. The pricing is just completely useless these days since we have ebay to determine values and cards are basically worth whatever someone is willing to pay.

Yes, I kept all of my Becketts from 1990 to 1994 or so. I still find them to be a great resource when I'm researching old product. The magazine of that era was more than just cards; it was a legitimate hockey magazine.

After 1994, I'd kept a few here and there as reference points. I have not bought one in at least a decade.
