I couldn't quote dollar amounts, but those SW figures were so mass produced, unless you have some of the rarer variants (painting mishaps, wrong lightsaber lengths, etc) they don't fetch much more than you probably paid for them.

Everyone bought them up with the intentions of keeping them in the packages. Only problem is, when everybody has them unopened there is no demand.

I have roughly a dozen boxes full of 'em.

Thanks weasel-king for the information, I paid too much for these and I guess I might be stuck with them. Do you remember what the retail value was back then? I guess I can try to get my money back for them or just keep it.

Yeah, I collected them because I'm a huge SW fan, not for investment. It does suck, though, knowing that if I decided to move them for one reason or another that I'd take a loss.

Off the top of my head, I remember them retailing anywhere from $4.49 to $5.99 or so, depending where you got them from. Some went down to $1.99 when they hit clearance, and so on.

there is a variant of the Black outfit luke skywalker. I believe he had a brown sweater and could only be obtained through movie theaters when the Special Editions were released.
