I was wondering if Becket Makes Checklist for players, I have a new Membership there I got recently and its hard to navigate around, just looking to see if there was a way I could get checklist or something

Just type your players name in the search bar at the top of the page. That will bring up all of said players cards.

That is a little misleading. Doing that will bring up a list of all card for said player that is either for sale, or wanted. A bit of error could definately exist. There is an annual hockey card price guide (not Beckett) that does list card checklists. I once was going to borrow it from my local dealer, but for me the list on Beckett was enough for now.

If you subscribe to the beckett opg you can search by card and then enter the player name, this will give you all of the cards for that player. It doesn't give you show cards though at least i don't think so.

They do. If you click on the player's name in the search results there will be a printable pdf file of all his cards.

It's hit and miss on show cards, but yeah - get a Beckett OPG sub and you'll get that functionality...just don't use it for pricing guides LOL :)

A fellow advertised checklists on this site a while ago. I checked it out, and from what I saw, it was very well done, and thorough. I recently got an email from them saying they have a website now. Here's the link: http://www.theWantList.ca (not my site, and I don't know who runs it :) )

Isn't the Want List mag associated with Grosnor somehow? I could be wrong...it's been known to happen...once.

Easy..

On Beckett.com, search for the player you want checklist from. It will bring all his cards. The first line will be only his name, click on that. After, you can have a checklist in the .pdf format. Once you are able to see the pdf, save it to your computer.

Then, visit this website: http://www.cometdocs.com/index.htm

You will be able to switch the .pdf in a excel format. They will send them to you by email. And that's it.

I searched a lot for how to do a good checklist before.. Then someone told me this, it's the best thing !

Hope this helps

Alex

I've been using Beckett's list for my Selanne collection and there are some sets not in their database.

There is an annual hockey card price guide (not Beckett) that does list card checklists. I once was going to borrow it from my local dealer, but for me the list on Beckett was enough for now.

That was the Charlton and one hasn't been printed in years -- not since Trajan sold CSC to Jeff Morris; and there were several sets not listed there either.

I'd suggest start with Beckett and then cross reference with hockeydb.
